My vision was to create an outlet where I could express myself, both creatively and emotionally. I wanted to manifest all of this, while helping others who had similar goals, fears, and dreams.

Back in 2019, my goal began to focus on building an online platform where I could extend my reach to young dental professionals. I wanted to create a blog- The Perio Pocket, because I knew sharing my story could help spark a light of motivation in others. Though social media I had access to a small group of students, and I often found that we all had the same insecurities that people didn't want to talk about.

What I didn’t know was that this blog would grow into something bigger. The Perio Pocket became my first start from scratch practice in San Diego. From the periodontics and implant office grew Scrubs & Scalpels Seminars and then Women in Perio bloomed from that same mission.

Now that the practice and the company are established, I'm renaming this blog to what it has always really been: the Perio Princess Blog. Same safe space, same honest story, same periodontist helping mentor and coach others.
